Chisopani a high hill on the northern ridges of Kathmandu valley at 2, 200 m high. Which is part of Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park, and route to several trekking destinations, Langtang and Gosainkunda. As well to Helambu towards north with Shivapuri and Kakani in the west with Nagarkot towards east. 

Chisopani and Nagarkot our main destinations for stunning panoramic views of Central Himalayas, as far to Annapurna and Everest range. Includes striking sunrise from the both major view point of Chisopani and Nagarkot Hill tops.

Nagarkot, at an altitude of 2,175 meters high one of the most popular touristic destination for domestic and foreign visitors. Due to its charming surrounding amidst beautiful forest of rhododendron and pines, facing breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks. Where travelers can enjoy the stunning sunrise in the comfort of various nice deluxe mountain resorts and hotels.

The hike begins after a short drive heading towards north east of Kathmandu valley rim at Sundarijal a small town. The route leads to a steep up reaching at beautiful spot, within waterfalls and reservoir, in the shade of cool forest.

Following the high forested path through several nice villages then reaching on top of a ridge at Chisopani. A lovely settlement with number of nice lodges and guest houses, overlooking spectacular views of Himalayan peaks.

Enjoy the sunset over array of Himalayan mountain range in the comfort of nice mountain lodge. From Chisopani next morning after views of striking sunrise over an array of snow peaks, walk on a high ridge. A pleasant last day hike through enchanting forest on down and uphill path, then reaching our final destination at Nagarkot.

A scenic hill famous for sunrise and sunset views over chain of Himalayan peaks, enjoy the serene, tranquil surroundings. Next morning catch the stunning sunrise, that reflects on Himalayan snow peaks. At Nagarkot completing our wonderful scenic hike and then drive back to Kathmandu.

Extension hike to Changunaryan or Dhulikhel town:

Interested people, with more times in Nepal can extend the hike for a day or more. Where one can hike to ancient temple of Changunaryan or full day walk to old Newari town of Dhulikhel.
